in the resistance. From here the hiding
camp was supplied, messages were passed
on and contacts were made.

On October 2, 1942, the Short Stirling
R9167 with call code OJ-N of 149 Squadron
RAF shot down after being shot at by a
German night fighter of l.NJG1. The aircraft
crashed at the Bedelaarspad in Kronenberg,
Municipality of Horst a/d Maas (L). Here you
will find the history of the aircraft.
